Albion sign up to Living Wage

Brighton and Hove Albion have signed up to the city’s Living Wage campaign, sponsored by our Unison branch.

The club has become one of a handful of Premiership clubs to pay all its staff the real Living Wage of £9 an hour, and has also instructed any contractor working for them to pay their staff the same rate.

The Albion are the 550th employer in the city to sign up. Branch Secretary Sue Beatty said: “We are delighted to support the local Living Wage campaign and are very pleased to see the Albion come on board – especially as they are requiring all the contractors who work for them to pay it too.”
