The Sustainability and Transformation Plans being imposed across England open the door to even more ruthless privatisation. They disguise radical cuts to staffing and services. £22bn is already being cut from NHS national funding. Now NHS England demands the wiping out of local “deficits”, predicted to be £860 million in our area at the end of 5 years if services continue to be provided at current level. For more information:
It’s vital that workers and trade unionists stand together to defend their own rights, and the services upon which we all depend. Our march ends with a rally outside Brighton Railway Station as a sign of our solidarity with railway workers in dispute.
