Caroline Lucas to speak at Stop the War meeting

Brighton and Hove Stop the War
Civilians are dying in a civil war that seems never ending, creating a stream of refugees in desperate need of a warm welcome. Now, our MPs have to add British bombs to the carnage despite a weak case in favour of military action.
Brighton and Hove people will come together to say ‘Stop Bombing Syria’ at a public meeting on Thursday, 7th January at 7.30 at the Friends Meeting House in central Brighton.
Confirmed speakers:
Abdulaziz Almashi, co-founder of Syria Solidarity UK
Caroline Lucas MP
Phil Clarke (Brighton & Hove Trades Council & National Union of Teachers)
John Newsinger (Author The Blood Never Dried – a People’s History of the British Empire).
Simon Kirby MP and Peter Kyle MP have also been invited to speak at the meeting.
All welcome! Free admission – donations welcome
