Don’t Bomb Syria – Brighton & Hove campaign details

Many people in Brighton & Hove are horrified that there may be a Parliamentary vote next week to join in the bombing of Syria. As in Iraq, innocent people in Syria will be the victims of such bombings and, as we have also learnt the hard way, such a strategy simply creates more problems and suffering.

Anyone who wants to oppose this warmongering is invited to a planning meeting at the Quadrant pub in central Brighton (near the clocktower) at 6pm on Monday, 30th November.

Many people also intend to travel to London tomorrow (28th November) to demonstrate in Downing Street their opposition to more war. Join them if you can!

If Parliament vote for bombing, people will meet on the day the bombing starts at Brighton war memorial at 5pm, once again to show their opposition.
