Labour’s roll of shame (but not Corbyn’s!)

The local Defend the NHS campaign unfurled its Labour roll of shame outside the Labour Party conference this morning at the Brighton Centre.
The banner lists the names of all the Labour MPs – 185 of them- who voted for or abstained on the Tory Welfare Bill. A principled 48 voted against – including Jeremy Corbyn.
The vote is another reminder that socialists in and outside the Labour Party must fight to stop the parliamentary party – dominated by Blairites – from betraying the hopes of all those who voted for Corbyn as leader just two weeks ago.
