We’d like to invite you along to our UNISON open meeting for community and voluntary sector workers on
Wed 18th Feb 2015 from 5.15 – 7pm at the Brighthelm Centre, North Road, Brighton
Do you work for a charity, Housing Association or community organisation?
Is your organisation worried about cuts next year?
Are they thinking about cutting workers’ hours or wages?
Could the service you provide be cut back, or cut altogether?
Could you end up doing more work for the same money?
The austerity agenda and public sector cuts are affecting organisations across the city, from big national charities, to those run entirely by volunteers.
Let’s get together to discuss what we can do to stop the attacks on jobs and services.
This meeting is open to all workers in the Brighton and Hove community and voluntary sector – you don’t have to be a member of UNISON to come along.
All welcome – free tea, coffee and biscuits
This meeting has been called by voluntary sector members of Brighton & Hove Local Government branch of UNISON (which also covers the voluntary sector.) At the meeting we will be electing UNISON Voluntary Sector reps. For more details contact: judy.goss@resourcecentre.org.uk or sue.bowes@brighton-hove.gcsx.gov.uk
