ALL WELCOME
On the 10th July workers across the public sector – teachers,
council workers, teaching assistants, civil servants in the job
centres, courts, tax offices and more are planning to take strike
action.
The NUT, GMB, UNISON, UNITE and PCS have balloted their
members because of the continuing attacks on our public
services and the dedicated staff who work in them.
The government is offering a 1% pay ‘rise’ – in fact a pay cut
when since 2010 gas bills have gone up 57%, electricity 22%
and food 16%.
The government ignores the fact that major corporations like
Starbucks and Amazon pay next to no tax while squeezing
workers’ pay packets, forcing nearly half of all teachers to quit
within 5 years as 60 hour weeks become the norm and making
front line firefighters work until 60.
So please support the strikes. Make the government listen.
Britain needs a pay rise!
