Greenkeepers take second day of action

Greenkeepers at Hollingbury and Waterhall golf courses are on strike for a second day today (4th July) as their employer – mytime leisure – continue to refuse to talk to them about massive pay cuts.
The company – a social enterprise – has announced plans to restructure which will result in the greenkeepers losing up to £4,000 in pay. The company has consistently refused to enter meaningful talks throughout the consultation period, forcing Unison and the GMB into taking strike action.
Pickets were once more out at 6am this morning.
